AustPost Domestic Fuel Surcharge/International Line Haulage
  • Why are shipping costs increasing?

Australia Post have advised that with changes in fuel prices impacting the transport industry, the fuel surcharge can rise, fall, or not be applied, depending on the movement in fuel prices.

AusPost regularly measure the difference between the current fuel buy price and a base price, being their fuel buy price at the time the surcharge was first notified to customers, in August 2017. The fuel surcharge for domestic parcels reflects a weighting of their direct and indirect fuel-related costs to total cost and the monthly average of index spot prices. Some months the fuel surcharge is 0% but can and has ranged anywhere up to 10.8%.

We are doing our best to get your order to you and want to keep you abreast of price fluctuations.   Pete x
